How Much Does a Tailor-Made Suit Cost in Khao Lak? 2026/27 Price Guide

It’s usually the first question people ask when they walk into our shop: “So, how much for a suit?”

It’s a fair question. Prices along the Khao Lak strip can vary a lot, and some shops quote a low number and add extras later. So here are our actual prices for the 2026/27 season, and what changes the price.

What Changes the Price?

1. The fabric

Fabric makes the biggest difference in price. An entry-level suit is good for occasional wear. The top-quality and special fabrics, including our 150s cashmere-wool blends from Carlos Barbera and Roberto Fellini, feel softer and drape better. They also last much longer if you wear a suit every week.

If you’re unsure, ask to feel the fabrics side by side. Most people can tell the difference straight away. Our guide on how to choose the right fabric for your custom suit explains the options in more detail.

2. Size

For larger sizes and longer garments, such as tall men’s trousers or full-length overcoats, the price goes up a little because they use more fabric. We’ll tell you this before we start, not when you come to collect.

3. Style and extras

A classic two-piece suit is the base price. A waistcoat, a double-breasted cut or a tuxedo with satin lapels adds to it. If you want the full look, the Luxury Suit Package at 900 USD usually works out better value than ordering each piece separately.

Is a Cheap Suit in Khao Lak Worth It?

Be careful with very low prices. If a shop offers a suit, two shirts and a tie for a tiny amount, the savings have to come from somewhere, usually the fabric, the inner lining or the number of fittings.

A good tailor-made suit needs time and at least one or two proper fittings. That’s why we always tell guests to order early in their holiday. Read how many days you need for a suit in Khao Lak to plan your visit, and our guide to avoiding tailor scams in Thailand before you shop anywhere.

How Khao Lak Prices Compare to Home

A made-to-measure suit in Europe, Australia or the USA often costs several times what you’d pay here, even for similar fabric. Thailand has skilled tailors and lower running costs, and you pay the tailor directly, with no middleman. We explain more in why Thai tailors are cheaper than in Europe and Singapore.

Once we have your measurements, you can also reorder from home. We ship to the USA, Australia and many other countries.

Quick Tips Before You Order

  • Come in during the first few days of your holiday. That leaves time for fittings without rushing.
  • Bring a photo of a style you like. It makes the conversation much easier.
  • Ask for the full price upfront, including the waistcoat, extra trousers or larger sizing.
  • Think about where you’ll wear it. A wedding suit and an everyday office suit need different fabrics.
